I searched for a recipe for Marrow Dumplings for you.  The web search
was fruitless.  We found this is the 1946 Joy of Cooking for you:

Marrow Balls

Beat until creamy:

1/4 c. fresh marrow
2 T. butter

Add:

3 eggs
1/4 t. salt
1/8 t. paprika
2 T. chopped parsley
Cracker crumbs

Use just enough cracker crumbs to make the mixture the right consistency
to shape into balls.  Cook the balls in simmering soup for 15 minutes.
